With my beautiful lake and wildlife galore
Let me share with you now the birds on my shore
A Peregrine falcon was spotted today
Great spotted woodpecker tapping away
A Kestrel or Magpie building their nests
Tufted duck, Mute Swan or Great crested grebe
With its ornate head plume and love of water reed
Moorhen and Coot happy cousins indeed.
Pochards prefer to dive in my water
Whilst the Canada geese enjoy dabbling my border
And the Tits great and long all hogging the trees
Not forgetting the Finches, Wren, Robin and bees!
By the Gondola restaurant all this to be seen.
