The lighthouse is open on the first Sunday of the month, so choose carefully on which Sunday you will choose to meet your lover. You have a few choices, however, as Long Player will run until 2999 - yes you read that right - it is set never to repeat itself for a thousand years! East India DLR may be the nearest station but why not investigate taking a Thames Clipper there, to add more romance to this unique experience.

It is all about the sound and the view - the lighthouse at Trinity Buoy Wharf plays host to Long Player an extraordinary composition and art installation by Jem Finer. Sit here with me at the top of the lighthouse and listen to the chimes of tibetan bowls. I promise you a romantic experience second to none. Alone in our eerie, we can look out across the Thames, both upstream and downstream, while hypnotised by the resonance that fills the space around us.
